Man I need to go here!
The brightly lit, blonde-wood store features a half-court and bleachers for player appearances, multimedia attractions that capture moments from NBA and WNBA games over the last 50 years, and a monitor broadcasting current games. The store carries jerseys, t-shirts, sneakers, breakaway pants, baseball hats and non-apparel goods from a comprehensive selection of NBA and WNBA products.

Unperturbed by the arriviste competition in the food court next door, the jewel of the pre-renovation Terminal continues to serve superlative pan roasts and clam chowders, and an overwhelming assortment of East and West Coast oysters. The sprawling subterranean space has the hustle-bustle feel of a cafeteria, which its snaking counters resemble, but don’t be fooled—you pay for the privilege of eating under that vaulted tile ceiling.

Sometimes it’s the unsung heroes that just don’t get the hype. Rare is that hero. Located in The Shelburne Hotel in Murray Hill (Rare also has a location in the West Village), Rare offers a little something for everyone in the burger world. They feature all kinds of burgers, including chicken burgers, Mexican burgers, sliders and more. In addition to burgers, as many casual bar food type places do, Rare has a version of chicken wings on their menu – theirs are called “Lollipop Wings.”

Rayuela (Spanish for “hopscotch” and the title of the experimental novel by South American writer Julio Cortázar) introduces Estilo Libre Latino (Freestyle Latino) cuisine, which respects yet redefines traditional Latin American and Spanish dishes including ceviche and tapas. Located on the Lower East Side at 165 Allen Street, it is owned by Executive Chef Máximo Tejada, up-and-coming restaurateur Hector Sanz and Paul Fernandez.
While the basic structure of the traditional dishes will be maintained, the actual ingredients may be unconventional and may come from over a dozen Latin American countries including Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, as well as Spain.
Sounds pretty good to me!

Located in NYC’s Meatpacking District, Pastis is another Keith McNally restaurant serving reliable bistro food. Always a scene and crowded so make sure you have a backup plan if you are going during prime lunch or dinner time. Also a great late night place!
Executive Chefs Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson and Chef de Cuisine Pascal Le Seac’h prepare a menu that combines hearty Provençal dishes with moderately-priced bistro fare. The bar serves a range of house cocktails, wines by the glass, carafe or bottle, and several varieties of pastis, an anise-flavored aperitif from the south of France. The restaurant features a communal table, a zinc bar, and an outdoor summer café.
